THE SNAKE
the one who ate the flower of eternal life
The SNAKE collection was inspired by the Epic of Gilgamesh.
In the Epic of Gilgamesh - one of the oldest stories humankind has ever told - while the hero rests in a cool pool leaving the flower on the bank, a serpent, drawn by its fragrance, rises up and carries it away.
In that single moment, hope for immortality of humankind is gone. The snake sheds its skin and leaves Gilgamesh devastated.
This collection draws on that myth, and on everything serpent jewelry has symbolised across human history: wisdom, protection, devotion, faithfulness, passion, eternity.
What the piece means is yours to decide. Worn as an amulet, it carries your own intentions and becomes a link to all the ancestors who came before us.
